banshu miki uchihamono (japanese traditonal crafts)
banshu miki uchihamono is one of famous Japanese traditional crafts. They are kind of cutley and producted in Miki city. The city was invaded and destroyed by Hideyoshi Hashiba 400 years ago. In addtion to that, Miki castle was burned by him. After that, he collected many carpenters in the city to rebuild.

Ginkaku ji temple
Ginkaku ji temple is also famous temple in Japan. The temple is located in Kyoto city. 8th shougun (Yoshimasa Asikaga) construted this temple. He likes to live a poetical life. And this temple is registered as a world heritage.

Summer season ( March 1 to Novemver 30th)

When I was a junir high school student, I visited this temple. It was so cool^-^
Kinkaku ji (One of japanese famous temple)
this page is about Japanese temple. so kinkaku ji is know to famous temple in Japan. In Muromachi period(1336-1573 ), Ashikaga family had controlled in Japan for 200years. They were shogun like a general. And third shogun (Yoshimitsu Ashikaga) had huge power as japanese emperor. Because he coducted an unrelenting purge of disloyal elements from him.
And he constracted kinkaku ji temple in kyoto as a symbol of his power. The temple is luxurious, because walls is made of Gold. Therefore, the temple is very famous around Japanese people. In addition to that we learned the temple in social studies class when we were primary school students. So the temple is also one of famous tourist spots. many foreign tourists visit.

visiting time: 9:00am to 5:00pm
an admission fee: 400yen, but if you are a primary school student or junior high school student, the fee is 300yen.

Tanba tachikui yaki
The main crafts are dishes, tea cup, flower vase, crock and pot. If they make it in a smokestak kiln, max temperature will be 1300 degree and the color will be beautiful.
So, if you go to Sasayama city, you can have a experience to make it and buy it. In tachikui to no sato, over 100000 people come to there for sightseeing and see tanba tachikui yaki.

Osaka karaki sashimono
The kind of karaki is ebony tree , rosewood or bombay blackwood. These the countries of origin is Thailand and other Southeast Asia
Today, Osaka karaki sashimono is made in Osaka, Himeji city(Hyogo Prefecture), Nara city(Nara prefecture), Takefu city(hukui prefecture)

Toyooka kiryu zaiku
Toyooka kiryuzaiku is one of Japanese traditional artifacts. It is a woodwork like a container and lid, basket, inteior. And it is made of osier or rattan. 300 years ago, many Japanese people had used Toyooka kiryuzaiku as a tour bag. furthermore, we exhibited some internation exhibition. For example, Exposition Universelle de Paris 1900, World's Columbian Exposition、Expo 1893,Louisiana Purchase Exposition, Expo 1904, Panama-Pacific International Exposition, Expo 1915. So Princess Masako also has made habitual use of Toyooka kiryuzaiku.
If you are intersted in this artifacts, you should go to Toyooka city (Hyogo Prefecture), because it is made in Toyooka city now. And, Toyooka city has a musium about Toyooka kiryu zaiku

Japanese tradional artfiacts (2)
izushi yaki is one of the famous Japanese chinaware. It has been made since 400years and white porcelain. In 200 years ago, some ceramists exhibited izushi yaki in many exhibition. Espeially, izushi yaki got a gold prize in Louisiana Purchase Exposition, Expo 1904. As a result, izushi yaki became famous and popular more and more. Today, there are many ceramists who make izushi yaki in Izushi Town Toyooka City. Izushi Town is located in North Hyogo Prefecture. Furthermore, Izushi Town is known to Izushi noodles. I recommend you eat Izushi noodles in dish of Izushi yaki. And if you are interested in Japanese castle, I also recommend you go to Izushi castle after eating Izushi noodles.
