Before I wrote this one in yahoo blog. but i change to write this site.

Banshu Abaus is one of the famous abaus in Japan. The abaus is made of Japanese white birh, ebony tree and boxwood. This first photo is Banshu Abaus photo. So, the abaus of the hiehest quality is over 20000yen ( about 200 dollar ).  The abaus is made in Ono city (Hyogo prefeture ). Ono city is near Osaka and Kobe city. So, It takes about 1 hour from Ono city to Kobe city by car.
 In 1960s, they had producted over 3.5 million abauses. However, they product only 1hundred thousand abauses now.  But thesedays, we send the abaus to some poor counties that they educate abaus. It is one of our donation. For example, we Japanese sent about 12000000 abauses to Tonga in 2010. Maybe we will continue to do this ativity.
